This past Fourth of July, we were privileged to be one of the featured artists for the Breckenridge Street Arts Festival, occurring over Independence Day Holiday Weekend. Knowing the nature of the occasion, I decided to go patriotic with the theme… and I’m happy I did. Veterans from all wars since the Korean walked by with tears in their eyes as they watched the image emerge from the streets of Breckenridge, at 9,000 feet above sea level. While it rained pretty heavy over the first day of the festival, by day three, the skies dried up nicely, and we were able to pull together this finished image.
