Denver Chalk Art Festival is always our place to show off what we do best. The extra time of working gives us the challenge to pull off something really spectacular. And, because the weather was perfect, our piece stay preserved as we worked on it, and we were able to fulfill our vision. For this year’s theme, I wanted to keep playing around with blocked forms in perspective, drawing inspiration from Moroccan villages. The preliminary gridding for this piece was intense. Even the position of the sun was configured and shadows drawn in correctly as they fell on the shapes and forms.
