I painted this image three times. It was a three day festival and every day, almost by clockwork, the torrents came, destroying the entire day’s worth of work. This meant that every morning of the three day festival, I had to start over from scratch. All I had was a ghost image to go by, and that was it. Thus, by the time day three arrived, my three day design suddenly became a one day design. I had to self edit many details I had planned on rendering, just for the sake of getting it completed. These pictures were taken right before the third rainstorm.
